- Does BCWP accept donations?
- Yes! BCWP is a 501(c)(3) organization. All donations to BCWP are tax deductible under IRC Section 170.
- does bcwp accept sponsorships?
- Yes! If you are interested or know a business interested in sponsoring BCWP in its mission to support water polo in the Memphis area, please contact the board.
- Are there other programs that i can support which will support bcwp?
- Yes! We are affiliated with KrogerPlus. Enrolling in the program is no cost to you, and shopping through Kroger will support BCWP. Please see the donations page for more details.
- WHat is american water polo? Is it the same as US water polo?
- American Water Polo (AWP) is a governing body for water polo that provides secondary insurance coverage to athletes. It is BCWP's policy that all athletes be current with their AWP membership. AWP is not the same as USAWP.
- Do i need a uSAWP membership?
- Some tournaments we attend require USAWP membership. If attending those tournaments or other USAWP events, then you'll need an active USAWP membership.
- I need help logging in! Whom do I contact for technical assistance?
- Coaches are not able to change the information within your profile. If you need help with your account, please contact treasurer@bcwp.org.
- I need to update an email address. what do I do?
- You should be able to update that from your profile.
- Does bcwp have a referral program?
- Yes! We recognize that player fees can add up, and we do our best to keep our fees as low as possible. However, water polo is an inherently expensive sport. To help with this, any member who brings in a third-party sponsor for BCWP will be awarded a credit worth half the amount donated to the team. This credit is to be used to offset player fees. For example, if John Doe convinces Business ABC to donate $1,000 to the team, then John Doe will be credited $500 off his player fees.
- I want to play but i'm unsure of cost. what should i do?
- We want everyone to play water polo! Send us an email outlining your situation.
